Integrated Studies Term 3

WALT: design a new area for the school in 2 to 4 years time

I learned how to plan like a builder does

Here is an example of my learning: This is my plan so far

I achieved my goal because I am able to make a substantial planning area sheet

Next time I will try to do my lines neater

PE term 3

WALT: kick a large ball

I learned how to kick large ball good and straight through the goal

I achieved my goal because I can kinda kick a large ball accurately

Here is an example of my learning in soccer practice two people go side to side while two other people  try to get the ball to the end

Next time I will try to kick the ball more accurately

Maths Term 3

WALT: Multiply by 10,100,1000

I learned the the strategy of multiplying by 10,100,1000

Here is an example of my learning e.g 5 x 1000 = 5000, 3 x 100 = 300, 4 x 10 =40

I achieved my goal because I am able to understand multiplying by 10,100,1000

Next time I will instantly know multiples of 10,100,1000

My Mosaic Fish

WALT: To create a mosaic picture using pastel and Indian ink

Success Criteria we have used colors effectively

I learned how to break up the pieces using chalk and how to colour using pastel, so no white shows through

Here is an example of my learning:  this is my mosaic fish

I achieved my goal because I did a good mosaic fish and I used colours effectively

Next time I will try to colour darker using pastels

My Mihi

WALT: introduce ourselves in Te Reo

I learned how to say my mihi ok and here are some of my sentences

Ko Eddie and Ryan toku hoa and Ko Jeff toku papa and Ko Nicki toku mama

I achieved my goal because I can pronounce my mihi fluently

Next time I will be able to write my mihi better.

I learned what a full sentence is.

I achieved my goal because wrote a good full sentence.

Next time I will try to use full sentence all the time.

ANZAC Writing

WALT retell the story about ANZAC Day.

I learned how to write an ANZAC story

I achieved my goal because I completed my ANZAC story and had lots of fun doing it here are some of my best sentences. New Zealanders travelled to world war one to help Britain fight a very big war and
the war lasted until 1918  and was called the Great War. Now it is usually called the first world war.

Next time I will try to use more descriptive words.
